Dr M Srinivas, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, said, speaking at the launch event stated, “If the country as a whole is to be in the best league, that has to extend to all spheres, including medical innovations, medical teaching, training and learning as well. VR-based simulation training allows for a learning environment where you are immersed and exposed to all things you will experience in a clinical setting. This collaboration enables us to further study how immersive technologies can contribute to skill development, assessment and training standardisation.”
